Tallinn is to become a permanent site of Quantum Systems, strengthening the company's presence in Estonia. It was already represented on the eastern flank of NATO in Lithuania – and is now expanding its activities there further.

At the same time, the company announced that it is acquiring SensusQ. The Estonian software company works in the field of military intelligence and specialises in analysing large data sets for defence and security purposes. According to the latest press release, the technology and team of the acquired company are to strengthen in-house software development, expanding the offering in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) as well as in data analysis.

With the SensusQ software, authorities, armed forces and other security-related organisations can process, structure and evaluate large volumes of operational data. By integrating this know-how into its software stack, Quantum Systems increases its ability to combine unmanned platforms, sensors and data analysis into integrated ISR solutions – embedded in a sovereign European architecture.

Quantum Systems pools Estonian capabilities in Tallinn

The Tallinn office serves as the hub of the Estonian activities. It brings together local engineering know-how, software expertise and other capabilities from Estonia, namely precision ISR, stabilised payloads and electro-optical sensors.

Estonia stands for strong engineering expertise, software innovation and defence technology— Martin Karkour, Chief Revenue Officer at Quantum Systems
With our site in Tallinn and the acquisitions, we are strengthening the software and sensor capabilities of our portfolio. This is an important step for our presence in Estonia and the Baltic states and for our ability to provide integrated European solutions to customers in defence, public security authorities and critical infrastructure.— Martin Karkour

The expansion follows a Series D round of 1.05 billion euros, which the company announced on 2 July 2026. The capital is intended to help build up more production capacity, secure supply chains, scale delivery infrastructure in allied markets and further develop software and AI.
