Rheinmetall Technical Publications

Rheinmetall Technical Publications GmbH (RTP), headquartered in Bremen, is part of the Rheinmetall Group and began as a provider of technical documentation before growing into a technical logistics service provider. It has German branches including Penzberg and Iffeldorf in Upper Bavaria and subsidiaries in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Australia.

At the turn of 2021/2022 RTP took over the business of the Penzberg drone maker EMT in an asset deal, including its workforce. More than 150 staff in Penzberg and Iffeldorf now work on the ALADIN, LUNA and LUNA NG unmanned aircraft. LUNA NG is a catapult-launched tactical reconnaissance system ordered by the Bundeswehr, where it is known as HUSAR.

RTP is also an approved aeronautical organisation and supports systems such as the KZO target localisation UAV. Its other services include maintenance documentation, interactive electronic technical publications, integrated logistic support and reliability analysis.
