Bayraktar TB2: Kosovo Security Force takes delivery of five Turkish drones from Baykar
The Bayraktar TB2 now also flies for Kosovo: seven months after the contract was signed, five systems have arrived at the Kosovo Security Force (KSF). Numerous other countries already operate or have ordered the Turkish type.

The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has just taken delivery of five Turkish-built Bayraktar TB2 – only seven months after the contract with the manufacturer Baykar was signed.
The combat and reconnaissance drone is designed for medium altitudes and long endurance. Apart from Türkiye, many other states have recently bought it, including Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Mali and the United Arab Emirates.
In the Nagorno-Karabakh war against Armenia, the TB2 played a major role on the Azerbaijani side; the Ukrainian army has also used the type successfully in the war with Russia.
Three more countries – Albania, Kuwait and Romania – have already ordered the system; Indonesia, Serbia and Slovakia have also shown interest.
Besides the Bayraktar TB2, other Turkish drones in demand
Beyond the Bayraktar TB-2, drones “made in Turkey” attract strong international interest. State-owned Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) recently unveiled the new Anka-3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) – together with the Kaan, a fifth-generation fighter jet.
