Drone manufacturer Primoco UAV SE: Spain's Guardia Civil orders the One 150
The first major order of 2026 brings the Czech drone manufacturer around 4 million euros. The Guardia Civil wants to use the One 150 to monitor maritime and border areas – while Primoco is expanding production in Písek.

Primoco UAV SE, a drone manufacturer from the Czech Republic, has announced its first major order of 2026. The customer is the Spanish Guardia Civil, and the contract is worth around 4 million euros (about 100 million Czech korunas).
A nationwide security force with a military structure, Spain's Guardia Civil covers a broad range of tasks and faces some of Europe's most complex security challenges. Daily, its members tackle international organised crime, smuggling networks and illegal migration. They protect national borders and strategic ports and airports, secure critical infrastructure, conduct counter-terrorism operations and help protect natural resources.
Technologically, the Primoco One 150 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is to play a key role in future. With its exceptionally long endurance and modern sensors, it is to enable the Guardia Civil to monitor large maritime and border areas permanently and support ground units tactically in difficult terrain.
More capacity at the drone manufacturer
2025 was already a successful year for Primoco UAV SE: a total of 42 drones were ordered, with a total value of 43.5 million euros (1.06 billion Czech korunas).

Meanwhile, the site at the company's Písek‑Krašovice airfield is being extensively expanded. A new hangar and modern training facilities under construction there are to be fully operational in the first half of this year.
At the end of 2025, Primoco UAV also submitted a building permit application for a completely new production hall in the cadastral area of the town of Písek (South Bohemia). The building is to be erected in the neighbouring industrial zone. Once it is completed, the company can raise its maximum production capacity to up to 300 unmanned aerial vehicles a year.
Profile of Primoco UAV SE
Primoco UAV SE is one of the largest European manufacturers of medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles. Its main product is the Primoco One 150 drone: it has a maximum take-off weight of 150 kilograms, stays in the air for an exceptional 10 to 15 hours depending on configuration and equipment, and carries a payload of up to 20 kilograms. Take-offs and landings are fully automatic.

The Primoco One 150 is the only UAV of its class worldwide to be certified under the military NATO STANAG 4703. In addition, it holds a civil operating authorisation from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and a certificate of airworthiness under ICAO Annex II.
The Primoco One 150 is designed for demanding tasks in both the civil and military sectors. Its fields of application include monitoring forest fires, mobile communication networks, supporting rescue operations in natural disasters, environmental monitoring and border and coastal surveillance.
Militarily, the system is used mainly for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Modern technologies, including artificial intelligence that detects and analyses data in real time, together with a high degree of compatibility also make the platform suitable for particularly demanding autonomous and military mission scenarios.
Primoco UAV SE has built more than 250 One 150 drones to date. They are now in service on four continents, including in the war in Ukraine. According to the Luxembourg Ministry of Defence, Luxembourg delivered six One 150s to Ukraine as early as November 2022. In addition, the German Federal Government procured a total of 18 reconnaissance drones of this type in 2025 for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The company is listed on the Prague Stock Exchange in the Prime Market segment. With a market capitalisation of around 205 million euros (5 billion Czech korunas), Primoco was among the 100 most valuable companies in the Czech Republic in 2025. It is headed by founder and Chairman of the Board Ladislav Semetkovský.
