Edge Group is showing no fewer than 46 newly developed systems and solutions in Abu Dhabi – both at IDEX and at NAVDEX 2025 (Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition), held in parallel. Among them is the Anavia HT-750, a helicopter drone.

Edge outlines the drone’s range of missions in a brief description – it is said to be a “state-of-the-art, unmanned heavy-lift rotary-wing platform for reconnaissance, surveillance and cargo transport missions”.

Edge chief looks beyond the helicopter drone to the entire portfolio

“This is by far our most advanced showcase to date, presenting not only next-generation solutions but also the critical technologies behind them,” says Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of Edge, putting the group’s appearance into context. He went on to explain: “We have moved beyond delivering individual systems and are now developing integrated, multi-domain capabilities that enhance mission effectiveness and operational superiority.”

The Edge chief continued: From autonomous platforms and advanced sensor technologies to secure communications and counter-UAS solutions, every product we are presenting at IDEX 2025 is designed to deliver real-world impact. His conclusion: By pushing the boundaries of technological innovation and fostering synergies across our ecosystem, we are cementing Edge’s position as a global leader in advanced defence and security solutions.”
