Reconnaissance drones for Ukraine: Quantum Systems wins order for Vector
Vector reconnaissance drones from Munich are going to Ukraine. Some systems are already flying; most will follow only once operators and pilots have been trained. Quantities and dates remain secret for now for security reasons.

Ukraine has ordered reconnaissance drones from the Munich drone maker Quantum Systems. Some of the drones ordered are already in use in the country. For the larger part of the order, preparation and delivery are still under way; it will be delivered only once the Ukrainian forces and drone pilots have been trained.
The partners involved are coordinating the arrangements and logistics in detail. Training to operate the Vector reconnaissance drone usually takes no more than four days. Until the handover is complete, no further details on quantities or delivery dates will be given for security reasons.
What sets the reconnaissance drones apart
The high-tech Vector drone matches the Ukrainian army’s requirements for aerial reconnaissance. Almost silent in flight, it transmits high-resolution aerial video over an encrypted data link, contributing to a precise situational picture. Thanks to suitable digital connectivity, Vector systems can also communicate with other systems in real time and increase combat effectiveness as a network.
