Counter-UAS at Enforce Tac: Walaris presents mobile counter-sUAS system with Air Scout
Imaging from OpenWorks, radar from Echodyne, AI analysis directly on the device: Walaris is bringing a tactical counter-UAS system to Nuremberg that is designed to classify small UAV at 550 metres.

US aerospace company Walaris is presenting a tactical, mobile counter-UAS system (counter-sUAS) at Enforce Tac in Nuremberg. It combines the company's artificial intelligence (AI) software Air Scout with modern sensor technology. The solution is designed for rapid deployment in dynamic environments.
Counter-UAS with Vision Flex and EchoGuard
According to a Walaris press release, the Air Scout architecture supports “the seamless fusion of multiple sensor types and enables mission-specific configurations through modular adaptability”. At the stand, the demonstrator combines the Vision Flex imaging system from OpenWorks with the EchoGuard radar from Echodyne. It shows how threats are detected via a configurable architecture that adapts to new threat vectors and scales with mission requirements.
According to the company, the mobile counter-SUAS system detects targets at up to 1,500 metres and classifies small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) at 550 metres. As an AI-enabled edge solution, Air Scout processes data locally and needs no network connection, keeping the system reliable even in contested areas.
