Oshkosh Defense bemutatása
Oshkosh Defense is a business of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) and is based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It designs, produces and sustains military vehicles, technology solutions and mobility systems for US and allied forces. Its range includes the JLTV and L-ATV light tactical vehicles, the FMTV A2 and MTVR medium tactical vehicles, the HEMTT, HET, LVSR and PLS heavy tactical vehicles and the M-ATV MRAP, together with training, parts and life-cycle support.
Its main uncrewed programme is ROGUE-Fires (Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary Fires), a remotely operated launcher vehicle on the JLTV chassis for the US Marine Corps. It serves as the carrier of the Navy/Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System (NMESIS) and can be teleoperated or run in leader/follower mode. Oshkosh Defense describes it as the first semi-autonomous ground system fielded by the US military. In June 2026 the Marine Corps placed two delivery orders worth 92 million US dollars for ROGUE-Fires Block 2 production, with deliveries expected through 2031. Block 2 adds next-generation autonomy, wider weapon integration and support for the MLRS Family of Munitions.
In October 2025 the company introduced the Family of Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicles. The X-MAV is an autonomy-capable launcher for long-range munitions, intended as the basis for the Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher Heavy (CAML-H) programme. The M-MAV, derived from the FMTV A2, is designed for optionally crewed or fully autonomous launcher operations. The L-MAV evolved from ROGUE-Fires and can be configured for counter-UAS, electronic warfare or resupply. In November 2026 Oshkosh Defense announced a partnership with Grid Aero to industrialise the uncrewed Lifter cargo aircraft, covering design for manufacturability, production planning and supply chain work in Wisconsin.
