About Aaronia

Aaronia AG, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Strickscheid in the Eifel region of Germany, develops measurement and monitoring technology: real-time spectrum analysers, broadband and direction-finding antennas, shielding materials and the related software.

In the unmanned-systems field the company is known for AARTOS, a passive drone detection and tracking system introduced in 2013. It locates drones and their remote controls by analysing the radio spectrum with 3D direction-finding antennas and can be combined with radar, cameras and jammers from partner companies into layered counter-UAS installations.

AARTOS systems are installed at airports, critical infrastructure, prisons, government sites and military facilities; several hundred systems are reported to be in use worldwide.
