UAV Engines Ltd (UEL) is a British manufacturer of engines for unmanned aircraft based in Shenstone near Lichfield, Staffordshire. The company was incorporated in 1992 and formerly traded as Alvis UAV Engines Limited. It is part of Elbit Systems and has been controlled by Elbit Systems UK since 2017.

Its range of lightweight, gasoline-fuelled Wankel-type rotary engines covers 20 to 120 bhp (15 to 90 kW) in air-cooled and water-cooled versions, including the AR731, AR741, AR682, AR682R, AR801 and AR801R. The engines are intended for small and medium tactical UAVs, target drones and single-mission platforms and have passed a FAR-33-type 150-hour ground durability test. The company holds AS9100D certification and offers engine integration support.

According to the company, its engines have flown more than one million flight hours on 30 platforms in 25 countries. A water-cooled rotary engine from UAV Engines powers the British Army’s Watchkeeper tactical UAS built by its sister company UTACS.
