Unmanned ground systems for NATO's eastern flank: ARX Robotics announces expansion to Poland at MSPO
Its own company, a planned headquarters, investment in the tens of millions: ARX Robotics is bringing unmanned ground systems and its experience from Ukraine to Poland – the company's fourth market.

ARX Robotics is moving into Poland. The European defence technology company, which develops unmanned ground systems, announced this step at the MSPO defence fair in Kielce. It extends its growth course on the continent to date and at the same time strengthens the presence of ARX on NATO's eastern flank.
Company, headquarters and investment in the millions
A Polish company has been founded as a first step. ARX Robotics then intends to establish a permanent headquarters and create its own facilities where Polish forces will be trained, receive technical support and have their equipment maintained.
Investment in the tens of millions is planned by the end of the decade, along with highly qualified new jobs. In the long term, ARX wants to become an integral part of the Polish defence ecosystem. The path there leads through close cooperation with the Polish Armed Forces, the government and industry, exploring how autonomous ground systems can be deployed, produced and supported in service there over the long term.
Unmanned ground systems: lessons from Ukraine
The approach builds on what ARX Robotics has learned in Ukraine. Military users there work closely with the company: it trains them, takes care of servicing and maintenance and continuously adapts the systems to feedback from operations.
Including Poland, the company will in future be actively represented in three of Europe's five largest defence markets, in addition to its extensive presence in Ukraine.
Poland stands at the forefront of European security and shows the determination, speed and industrial ambition that Europe needs now. In view of increasing Russian aggression towards our friends and allies along NATO's eastern flank, now is the right time to further deepen our commitment in Poland— Marc Wietfeld, CEO and co-founder of ARX Robotics
As our fourth market, Poland is an important step in the growth of our company. We want to build long-term capabilities here, support the Polish Armed Forces and become part of the Polish defence industrial base. Our experience in Ukraine has shown how quickly modern warfare is evolving. We want to share these insights with the Polish Armed Forces and NATO troops and thereby strengthen deterrence where it is most urgently needed.— Marc Wietfeld, CEO and co-founder of ARX Robotics
Gereon vehicles in large numbers
The company develops software-defined unmanned ground systems for armed forces in Europe and allied countries. In Ukraine, the unmanned ground vehicles of the Gereon family are used in large numbers. There, ARX cooperates directly with the Ukrainian Armed Forces to adapt the systems to operational requirements and develop them further.
ARX Robotics is taking the lessons from Ukraine into its further cooperation with NATO and Europe's armed forces. It is developing, for example, autonomous systems for reconnaissance, logistics and casualty evacuation, as well as for other tasks in which unmanned platforms can expose soldiers to less risk while increasing the mass of available systems.
