Hezbollah drone over Ramat David: video shows undetected overflight of an Israeli air base
A few days after a Houthi drone struck Jerusalem, a video is circulating that shows a Hezbollah drone over Ramat David military airfield. It also revealed the identity of the base commander.

Another incident has occurred, this time involving a Hezbollah drone: a video published by the news channel “Iran Observer” on X (formerly Twitter) shows a drone flying over Ramat David Airbase in Israel ( 32°40’00.0″N 35°11’00.0″E ). Only last Friday, a drone of the Yemeni Houthi rebels struck the heart of the capital Jerusalem.
Ramat David lies around 25 kilometres south-east of Haifa and is one of the most strategically important military sites in northern Israel. Three F-16 squadrons as well as drones and helicopters are stationed there in spacious underground bunkers, a significant part of the Israeli Air Force’s striking power.

Hezbollah drone goes unchallenged
All the more surprising is that the drone remained undisturbed over the base and was able to film. The video also revealed who commands the base; until now the commander had only been known by a “nickname”. Israeli media report an unprecedented security breach in command circles.
